Mortgage application help for adverse credit

Hi all,
In need of some advice and support regarding our mortgage application process.
Myself and partner have found a property valued at £234995. We are using the help to buy scheme and have gone through a mortgage broker to help place us.
I have adverse credit history of 4 defaults back in 2013 which are all satisfied using a debt management plan which I closed January 17. My partner has brilliant credit history.
Our mortgage broker has looked through both our credit reports etc and believes Halifax will accept us.
We have a credit card with about £1000 on, other than that no store cards or other credit cards/loans etc.
We have an AIP from them and they have apparently already looked at our credit reports. Our mortgage broker and our independent financial advisor both think it will get accepted however I have extreme doubts due to my adverse credit. I am terrified of getting rejected now that our full application has gone in, and our reservation for the house has gone through.
Has anyone been in a similar position with some positive outcomes using Halifax?
And has anyone used Halifax recently and know of a rough time frame to find out if we’ve passed full checks? Application went in yesterday.
Many thanks
Keri

Hi, similar position to me, I have 6 defaults spreading between 2012 and 2014. I have one dropping off tomorrow!
Not much I can say about experience, but some positive advice for you.
If it falls through, I would just wait until next year where all your 4 defaults fall off completely?0
