Buying flavourings used by commercial snack manufacturers

I was munching my way through a packet of smoked paprika crisps and decided its addiction to some of the flavourings which tempt many of us (including me) to pay inflated prices for these snack type products on which we tend to forget we're paying VAT which makes them even poorer value for money.
Does anybody know where we could buy these type of flavourings used by commercial manufacturers so we could create our own snacks which would be better value?
I know spice manufacturers sell spices in jars but I don,t know whether the snack products we eat have different combinations of flavourings all mixed in together. How for instance would one create the sweet chilli flavour used in a certain type of crisps ? I imagine making thin pastry crisps or straws with this flavouring at home would be bettervalue for money, especially for snacks, lunch boxes or light meals like jacket potatoes

https://www.waitrose.com/ecom/products/create-a-crisp/893272-618501-s might be worth a try but I don't think buying all the herbs , spices etc individually is really feasible. You would be surprised just what is in some of them! Sugar, even though it doesn't seem sweet, fish extract though it's not fishy, onion salt etc
Oops sorry! I see it's no longer available form W.Norn Iron Club member 4730 -
There seem to be quite a few popcorn seasonings available on Amazon, some of those sound tasty and savoury but really, could you be bother to bake your own snack?Norn Iron Club member 4730

Chinese supermarkets sell bags of monosodium glutamate (MSG) which is in a lot of snack flavourings. Citric acid gives you the vinegar in salt 'n' vinegar.0

Have a look at "Old Bay Seasoning". American product available on Amazon/ebay etc.
Goes with almost everything...meat/fish/spuds - endless uses.
Rather nice sprinkled lightly on home made oven chips whilst they cook...Lurking in a galaxy far far away...0
