My "treat" this week is having a sweet little Shih Tzu to stay with me. She's a darling, there's not a mean bone in her; she sleeps on the bed, but she's absolutely no bother, she curls up and goes to sleep as soon as she's had her bedtime biscuits; and it's so sweet to see her when she's dreaming, her little feet twitch and she makes tiny little "oof, oof" noises.:happylove
The MSE bit is I'm being paid to look after her!! :money:If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

I used to spend alot on books. I love my local library but it is small so now I go on our local library page on the net, find a book I want and order it. It costs 60p and in a few days I get an email to say it is waiting for me at the library. Such a bargain for 60p.0

I order books from the library on line as well. You can see on the catalogue the advance purchases and can request them for free.
My treat of the week every week is meeting friends for coffee ( as many refills as I fancy) and a scone and jam for £2.40 in the local hotel. Good coffee and good friends there is nothing to beat it.
Spent a £1 on a raffle ticket today and won a side of fresh smoked salmon so it is divvied up and in the freezer for Christmas and New Year yummy.0 -

My sister in law gave me a pair of expensive shoes, she didn't like the colour, a few weeks later she told me she thought my shoes were fabulous. They were the ones she had given me dyed a lovely pale grey.
My treat is usually a candle from Aldi, I like flowers but they are soon past their
best.so I don't tend to buy them.
I also love a lush bath bomb, not to be used straight away, it's kept in the bathroom for a few weeks to give off its scent.
Or a bag of popcorn, a bag of maltesers and some Pepsi Max shared with the husband while we watch something on TV on a Saturday night, (I won't count his 89p bottles of Aldi beer in with the £3)0 -
I refashioned a pair of too big wide leg trousers into a fitted pair of boot cut trousers. Well chuffed with them! They've been sitting in my to do pile for far too long. Probably picked them up at a bootfair last year for 50p!DF as at 30/12/16
