OK, Star, Express......

Anyone else think these are the most annoying sites to enter competitions on.

They take ages to load, laggy and have captcha.........

Also for me, the forms to enter my details are not always there, pot luck, I have never won on them.

Never won, but am guessing the number of entries is huge.
In chrome my details are there and the page loads quicker. IE is hopeless.
Captchas are horrendous at the moment. I'd given up trying in IE and C&Ped forms into chrome. Even that's playing up now.
Road signs, crosswalks and traffic lights are almost impossible.
Last night I even had my IP address temporarily suspended as their systems picked up I as having too many attempts so thought I was a cyber attack!

The page always seems to jump or scroll unevenly, so it seems like it has finished loading, I scroll to where you enter your details and I'm just about to input them when the whole page "jumps" back to near the top and freezes. So I have to wait until it has unfrozen and then scroll in fits and starts down to the comp entry again.

Spot on...you click in what you think is First Name but before you know you have been taken to pictures of Simon Cowells new baby!

See if this helps;

When the form appears and you see the words 'enter now' right click on those two words and open in a new tab. On the new tab, you should just have the entry form.

I don't have any problems with these sites at all, I don't even remember getting captchas on them. The only site I can think of where the captchas annoy me are the weekly radio "Win £2000" type ones.

I won an iPhone 6 nearly 3 years ago but there seems to be less competitions with them now ☹️

The Daily Star & Express forms have completely stopped loading for me - happens in FF, Chrome, IE, Edge, Opera & Comodo Ice Dragon whether I'm ad-blocking or not, incognito or not, accepting cookies or not. Ok, New & Star forms load fine.


Edit: Neither Tor browser nor a VPN worked but installing Basilisk Browser (the perpetual beta of the Pale Moon browser) allowed me to access the entry forms on the sites that I couldn't access with other browsers.

The Pale Moon Browser is also bringing up the entry forms on my PC that other browsers wouldn't.
