Heavy bottom fudge pan

Hello,
I'm after a heavy bottomed pan but 'heavy' seems quite subjective!
I've tried Lakeland, John Lewis and Steamer trading but I can't get a definitive answer as to what would be the best pan.
Can anyone here help?
Thanks

Do you have a pressure cooker? I find the pan bit is great for making tablet as it is suitably heavy-based.0

I've got a Sabichi brand stainless steel stock pot which is quite heavy bottomed,I make tablet in it so it would be absolutely fine for fudge as well. I bought mine from Argos quite a few years ago and it also used for stews soups , batch cooking etc. Its very strong has a glass lid and still looks good as new0

I got my preserving pan from Lakeland (had to ask an assistant as it wasn't shelved anywhere obvious); is this not the same thing as a "heavy bottomed pan"?They are an EYESORES!!!!0
