Based on the book by award-winning author R.L. Stine, the author of the “Goosebumps” series, Haunting Hour will be released on DVD on 22 October 2007. To celebrate MKP have an iPod Nano and copies of the DVD to be won. Haunting Hour is jam packed with so much terrifying fun, you won’t have any time for trick or treating this Halloween. It features a highly talented young cast headed by Emily Osment (of Disney Channel Show Hannah Montana and the Spy Kids movie franchise), Cody Linley (guest-star favourite on hit Disney Channel Shows including Hannah Montana and That’s So Raven), the quintessential movie villain, Saw’s Tobin Bell, and Brittany Curran (star of Drake & Josh, The Suite Life of Zack & Cody).
Guaranteed to put a shiver down your spine, Haunting Hour tells the story of 13-year-old Cassie who is trying to fit into a new school and neighbourhood. Never an easy task, she entertains herself by playing pranks on the ‘popular’ kids and her little brother, Max. As Halloween approaches, Cassie’s search for scares leads her to a mysterious Halloween store and an unusual book called The Evil Thing. When Max begs her to read the book to him, Cassie finally gives in, ignoring the warning ‘Do Not Read Aloud’. But it’s when they get to the last page of the book and its clear warning about The Evil Thing – ‘Don’t Think About It’ – that the spooky adventure really begins.
