  • Need to do some cross-border trading again, I much prefer the cheese that is on offer in the south.
  • I wish they'd do the Barolo offer outside of Scotland...

I'll swap you a bottle of the wine for 3 blocks of your cheese ;)

The cheese is good and at an excellent price. One word of warning of you intend to freeze: it does go very crumbly afterwards, which is fine for sandwiches, cooking etc but not if you intend to slice it.

Also it's a massive block, so after a couple of weeks does get to get some surface mould once defrosted (I speak from non-MSE experience). Its best to chop it up to manageable portions and wrap thoroughly before freezing.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.
  • I'm intending on getting cheese, tea and biccies. Think the cheese we're getting is different though.

    Where I live it's a bit of the Valley Spire, 830g at £2.39 (£2.88/Kg).

Limit of six per customer. I might push the boat out and stock up for Xmas and buy two :)

Trying to empty the freezer at the moment, so nothing can go in it - firstly because it needs to be empty for/by Xmas.... and secondly as my house is on the market and who knows when I'll move, so it needs to be emptied ready to move.
  • Cheese please :)
