Spendy day today as I’m at the hairdressers but it’s all budgeted for so I’ll enjoy being pampered and rid of my grey!!:rotfl:
We’ve got our eldest son and gf coming for tea so a big bolognese will be going in ready to make a lasagne later. I may need to pop out for some potatoes but we’ll see.
I didn’t sleep well last night so I doubt I’ll get much done today, although I am supposed to package some returns up and send them back.0 -
Well, I’ve been poorly again the last few days, so AWOL again. I did manage to get out and do my yearly Christmas shopping trip to the Metro Centre on Black Friday. It’s always been a tradition that we go near Christmas but just a coincidence it was Black Friday. We managed to get some more good bargains for gifts. Just some little stocking fillers to get.
We’ve gone over by £20 on our grocery shopping (up to now but shouldn’t change as we’ve got stuff in for meals planned) this month, which I don’t actually think is too bad seeing as though we’ve had an extra week to stretch out the same amount as usual. That bodes well for after Christmas! We also have some money left in ‘fun’, which we should only need half of, leaving just about enough to cover the groceries overspend, so that will work out well. Again, fab, considering the extra week it stretched!
As I said at the beginning of this, I won’t be making much of a dent in the debt until the new year, but I’m quite excited to chip away at it. And it seems much easier now Mr Anon is on board with it all. It’s the first time I’ve attempted a ‘fresh start’ that it actually seems doable.

Well, it should be a NSD today as I have both smaller children off school with some kind of virus...cough/cold/earaches/temps/sickness. Sadly it means I won’t be meeting up with my friend - who I haven’t seen for ages - for coffee and cake. I’m disappointed but I can rearrange.0
