Car on Finance

PCL makes some valid points, they just haven't been put across as well as they could have.
But to the OP - I would be absolutely amazed if they let you keep the car. If the finance company don't take the car back as breach of contract, then you would need a massively lenient OR who is in a good mood to let you keep a car with an £8k balance still on it.
Good luck - but the chances are you'll lose the car and be expected to make your way to work one way or another.0 -
Ooh I think you did come across quite derogatory cpl I’m afraid, as you asked why they would get a car on finance if they knew they were going to go bankrupt. It sounds like you were accusing them of being irresponsible, whereas they have explained it was due to unforeseen bereavement.0

The OP did not mention his / her partner's death until after my post and then called me out as the bad guy because I am not yet able to read other people's minds.0 -
Military service. I did 24 years.
Where did his/her death in service benefit go?
And as usual on the jolly boys Bankruptcy forum. Going Bankrupt is not your fault. And the only sin in here IS to be judgemental.0 -
See - even an MSE resident antagonist agrees that you are being judgemental PCL! No you are not mind reader, therefore perhaps you should think before you accuse...0
