Endownment claim company has contacted me?

As above but they want a hefty 30% for claiming a misselling and have read the thread regarding this.

The only problem is the endowment policy was over 20 years ago and I am !!!!!!ed if I can remember how I got it, all I remember is it wasn't connected to a mortgage!

Is it a lot of aggravation claiming or fairly easy?

I had to check to see this wasnt a thread resurrection from over a decade ago.

The endowment issue is largely considered closed now. Over 3/4 of endowments are barred from complaint (you have 3 years to complain from being reasonably aware of an issue - so if yours matured more than 3 years ago, you can be timebarred. If you projections have shown a shortfall projection on the middle rate you have 3 years to complain).

This is why you hardly see any endowment complaints nowadays and why most claims companies dont transact in this area any more. You only tend to see EMCAS still raising complaints.

They will get lucky with the odd one but having seen their complaint template, it was a shotgun hit and hope template.
