Just a rant really..

I’m 3 months into my BR, all fine, no IPA. My car on initial phone call was queried at being £1500, I said no chance is it worth that and that I would send in the screen shot of Parker’s guide ‘private poor’ estimated less than 1K. All seemed well but then I get a letter Yesterday saying they are waiting on a private car valuation which I wasn’t aware they needed. I ring and explain and the woman said that’s what I’ve been told so I said can you confirm and I’ll resent auto trader and Parker’s guide valuations to you and if you need a private car price I can get one next week.
Today- car broke down en route to school run (we only have one car atm) and took it to garage, £250 to fix 😔 it cost me £380 that my Gramps paid two weeks ago for MOT.
It’s 10 years old, back rear bumper is bumped, window is duct tape on in one place, just a little c1, are they honestly going to make me sell it?!? Good condition on autotrader came up at £1160. I just wanted to rant- I know they want to try and get some money for my creditors but I’ve got nothing to give. I’m strsssed anyway as Husband lost his job a few months ago, had to sell his car, we’ve used £400 of his car money just to pay for stuff in general. I’m having a battle to stop paying a tax credits over payment through our UC that we get. Husband is suppose to go back to uni end of sept for a placement so we’ll need a car for that, then our UC will stop as he gets a bit of student finance, we don’t know where his placement is as uni is being slow, I need to sort out childcare but can’t until I know how many miles away he is going to be and just generally trying to survive. He’s in the process of doing a DRO via CAB but that’s taking a bit of time.
Just everything getting to me! So now once Husband has paid another £250 from the car fund I’ll owe him that next wages- I already owe him £200 from him helping me with my BR fees. I can’t do over time as he’s not working it will get taken off of our UC plus then the OR will want it for my creditors. Just feel stuck in a mess and no real point to this post

Sorry to read you are having a bad time.
Surely you don't need to pay husband back? being your husband, surely this means you share the money issues.
Hope things improve for you0 -
Hi,
Has your car been declared exempt as an asset? If so, then I think the OR is showing interest where there should be none - a car held together with tape is in poor condition, and so your 'poor' on Parkers most certainly stands.
If not exempt then the OR can take it whatever its value.
In any event, it has to be worth the effort and costs of sale.
Keep providing your proofs.
