If you are hell bent on investments in equities that would be a reasonable way to do it.

I have all my ISAs with HL.
I have been reading on the boards about protection and the 85k compensation limit. Am I wrong to (have always) believed that my ISAs are ring fenced in the event of a collapse of HL?0
