Can I use childcare vouchers, and my partner the new Tax free childcare?

Is a couple able to use both schemes? My new job doesn't offer vouchers, but my partner is better off on the old scheme.

edit: I understand that an individual cannot use both schemes. Can one of a couple use one, and the other use a different one.

Thanks!

    You can't use both together.

"If you get tax credits, Universal Credit or childcare vouchers
You cannot get Tax-Free Childcare at the same time as claiming Working Tax Credit, Child Tax Credit, Universal Credit or childcare vouchers.

Which scheme you’re better off with depends on your situation. Use the childcare calculator to work out which type of support is best for you."

The piece quoted says "if you get".

But I don't get! My partner does. I would have thought this would be stated under "Eligibility - You and your partner" but it is not mentioned :(

You are a couple your claim is looked at as a couple not individuals.

You (plural), imagine it says 'your household'
