to do a linky:

write 'click here' (or whatever you want your linky to say!)
highlight click here
click on the little icon above the text box that looks like a globe and paperclip
in the box that appears put the web address for where the comp is found
then click ok

Are there any web entry magazines that no1 does? Pehaps there should be a sticky of whats available so we can pick 1 we like to add each week?

I dont know as there are over many weeklies that have online comps. I do the Real People ones each week. Kit34 does the Take a Break ones. Then theres Chat, dont think there is a regular poster of that. Other than those I dont know of other web entry ones - they should all be!:D

Maybe thats a job for the new moderator! I'm sure we're missing comps somewhere, and we need more to cover all the extra people joining the comps forum!

Thanks Cheeky Chicken and hjb123..........I have put the closing date in and will try a "linky" next time! No guarantees with me though.........still learning all this techie stuff!
I don't always get Chat, but will post the answers when I do.

I'm quite new to all this. Can you tell whether it's necessary to complete the survey bit about what you read and how often, to win with these competitions? What do other compers do? I've tried both completing and also leaving it blank and haven't won anything yet!

By the way thanks so much to all you lovely 'posties' - you do a really fantastic job. I'm still trying to get my head round how post, being a complete technophobe and when I do find something to post I keep discovering that someone's beaten me to it.
