No my info is correct. You don't know the first thing about DBS, spent convictions or frankly much else.

The picture shows me holding 3 DBS certificates that I had carried out, brought in today by staff so I can confirm and document them. It also shows blank forms for DBS checks I will be doing at 16.30 today.
Rather than Google answers, I only comment on things I have first hand knowledge about.

Your turn to show your experience.

What is the term you used, <mic drop> Wasn't it?

Op, hope your answers didn't get lost in all the willy waving.
Just to be clear, some convictions will still show up.

    Good luck.

Doing a job, and doing a job correctly are two different things.

So far all I can gather is you spend your working day sat on these forums...

Some convictions never become spent is what I think you meant.

If it’s a basic check it will only detail unspent convictions.

Table of when it becomes spent is here:

I believe DBS checks will go by the country where someone has previously lived if the person has not lived here long, and that country's own check may not be as thorough as the DBS in this country. Not very reassuring when so many come here and start working with vulnerable groups as their first role.
