yes that is odd - but giving out a bag with just a coupon in it is a bit odd too
why didn't they just hand out the coupon without the bag ? - nevermind I will get some tomorrow - of course they may have run out by then
I wonder why the booths have the nectar logo - I should have asked them yesterday0 -
I always enter loads of competitions in order to get into these sort of shows, Good Food, Ideal Home, Vitality etc. If it's not free for me to get in I just can't be bothered.
Luckily, the Good Food show was the same day as a course I was attending in London, so with my fares already paid for I went in about 5pm on the Friday. Tried to get as many coupon books as I could, but only seemed to be one lad giving them out and he seemed very reluctant to give me more than a handful. Ended up with 9 as I found a few just left on the side.
I also gave my husband's ticket away outside the show but everyone seemed to arrive with their own tickets. I'd be very surprised if anyone paid full price, it's a rip off if you don't know about the art of couponing!!Saving money right, left and centre0 -

Just got back from the show in Birmingham today. I'm pooped now! - managed to get (from memory!) -
-3 Coupon booklets
-2 pots of lo salt
-Lo Salt Salt & Pepper shakers
-2 jars of lloyd Grossman Balti sauce (plus 2 50p off coupons)
-2 Sainsburys goodie bags containing coupons, redbush tea, recipe guides and a little packet of shortbread
-4 bags of balsen bicuits
-2 mini jars of posh jam (I forget the brand name!)
-6 mini cartons of ocean spray cranberry juice
I'd had that many alcoholic samples by 10am I was feeling tipsy!
If you go on the last day there were some absolute bargains towards the end. We bought some knives that were reduced to 75% off as it was the last hour. Cases of top quality wine were being reduced to £20!0
