    That's excellent news. I am glad it worked out so well for your mum in the light of the somewhat alarmist nature of one or two posts here.

    And the court are right. They often are. If the person doesn't pay then the creditor has to keep pursuing them or accept that they will never get their money back. It's not your mum's problem and - as agrinnall said - the debt is on the person not the address.
