payslip issue and mtg application

Hi
Not sure if this is the right place to ask but basically work have underpaid me for the last 5 months. It has been an absolute mare to sort out and after being underpaid by 2k for August I kicked up a fuss and am now (apparently) getting a direct CHAPS payment into my account tomorrow.
The only issue is that we are planning to move and need to get a substantial new mortgage and I am worried that this one-off payment will fall under the radar. Does anyone know if my September payslip would then include something like "advance recuperated", basically show up what I will be paid tomorrow?
Thank you for your help

That depends if your previous payments were showing the lower amount. Were the payslips right and the payment wrong, or both wrong?
Provided your Mortgage Lender has documentation that explains and proves the situation this issue can be dealt with. Get your employer to confirm what has happened in writing.I am a Mortgage Broker

payslips were wrong previously... given that it has taken me 5 months to sort this out (and only with the help of my union) I am not holding my breath on HR being organised enough to be able to produce a letter to state what I was supposed to have been paid...0

You had better take steps to ensure they do if you intend to approach a Lender with three incorrect payslips and you are not well clear on affordability.I am a Mortgage Broker

well it took the threat of legal action to get this sorted so... do you think a lender would accept the latest payslip (which have ARREARS spelled all over it), the correct baseline salary (which will be on the payslip) and an explanation from me? You don't get paid 6k in arrears if you haven't earned them after all..0

I don't, no.
Lenders do not assume anything.
I expect them to ask the Employer to clarify what has gone on.I am a Mortgage Broker

Your Payroll dept should go back 5 months and in your September payslip you should see all the corrections of what you were paid and what you should have been paid otherwise it will screw the whole payslips up. this way they should be able to see what you have been entitled to. otherwise it will screw the whole lot up payroll wise and that's not what your payroll dept will want0

When are you planning to get a substantial new mortgage?
If you are not already in the process, then how long do you expect it to be before you are in a position to apply for this new mortgage?
If you are moving, you have to sell, and find a house.
If you are buying with nothing to sell then it could still take a while to find a property you like.
Some lenders may only need 1 some will ask for more. Probably could do with explaining your situation so people can comment on how big a problem this will be.0
