Got my IPOQ this morning, a few questions!

Hi guys,
Well looks like it might be early discharge for me!
Got my IPOQ this morning, but need a bit of clarification with the contribution element.
As you know my little lad and I are still living with my mum - although looking for rented accomodation at moment.
Nothing has changed re circumstances etc and contributions to household, bar a couple of pounds it is almost exactly as it was on the original BR forms processed at court, but on the form it makes it look like that the whole of my and elderly mum's income is added together to guage whether I am in line for an IPA!
You know what a worry guts I am, could you confirm for me that it is just my income and expenditure that is calculated and not my mum's as well.
Sorry do not know if I am explaining myself very well!

Hi Jules.

Congrats on getting the IPOQ/EDREV through.
I HATE the I&E sections in the BR forms and IPOQ. Must have been designed by a civil servant who doesn't have a clue.
But in the case of the IPOQ it asks for (if they haven't changed it since mine), what contribution any partner makes to the household expenses and what contribution other members make. It doesn't ask for their income which is a wholly different thing.
And yes, it is only your income and expenses that are used for determining whether an IPA is appropriate.
It seems that your OR understood your position before, since they haven't suggested an IPA. Furthermore since your circumstances have essentially not changed they won't want one now. While probably not necessary, if you are concerned that the OR might misinterpret your circumstances I would include a separate note explaining your situation.
I hope they process any ED quickly.
