  • Thanks for all your replies. The property I wanted to BTL got snapped up 4 days after going on the market so I'll put this plan on the back burner for now.


    Just for referemce the property was in Northants as I wouldn't touch London property with a bargepole. It was more of a trial run, I've done well with shares the past 8 years and thought I'd try my hand with a BTL.



    Agreed the yields look rubbish right now especially with no house price increases on the horizon so I'll bide my time and get back to the tickertape.
