Every problem always has a solution. Every debt can therefore be settled. Sometimes it appears overwhelming, but that is because you have forgotten about the baby steps. You want to make the giant leap forward when all that is possible is a few tiny steps.I work within the voluntary sector, supporting vulnerable people to rebuild their lives.

Thank you.
I need to do some thinking. I jus feel sick.
I’m literally juggling each month and I’m sick of it. 0 -
Just reading through your diary again. Thing are too tight. Juggling that way will be hard to maintain as you may end up dropping one or more balls.
I've been trying to think what I would do if I was in your position...If it were me I would:- Tell the other half what is going on. You cannot maintain 'the mask' indefinitely. You need to be pulling in the same direction.
- Ask all my creditors to put a 30 day freeze on my debts while I consider all my available options with StepChange.
- Contact StepChange for professional, free, quality advice on how to address these debts, when taking into account my income.

Sorry for the radio silence … I appreciate each of your advice so much.
I've spent the past few days feeling sick, cant believe ive got myself into this.
My mil owes me £500 so at least that's gets my overdraft down a bit more.
i'm going to phone all my cc companies this week, then go from there.
Bills wise, fri night i'm going to sort that out ie get sky cheaper.
Hubby is a complete saver, as in if I go shop I get the third degree of 'did I really need that' and most of the time it bugs me but I think I need to really take a leaf out of his book. I've always been a spender. I'll choose a takeaway over cooking if I could. Hubby is the sensible one which is why the guilt is overwhelming.
He deserves better and hopefully i can sort myself out to be that.0 -
Please don’t be too hard on yourself. Getting into debt is easily done. You have to think forward. Talk to your husband. You’ll feel so much better.0

Does he have any idea you have debt?0

Jus checking in.
I’ve not spent a penny this week. I’m pleased but still lots to sort 🤦!♀️0 -
I think you are doing exceptionally well in your efforts toward finding a solution. You need to give yourself some credit
The next few years, of working forward on your journey to debt freedom will be hard to do alone. It would be so much easier having your other half involved. Having a joint budget, a joint SOA, a joint direction of travel...I work within the voluntary sector, supporting vulnerable people to rebuild their lives.
