Previous employer screwed up my DBS...

If I now have to pay £44 that I otherwise wouldn't have had to had things worked correctly, I'm afraid I have to disagree with 'you haven't lost out'.
No, you didn't lose out.
Don't be so negative about it though. Another poster has suggested asking your new employer to pay for the DBS and then they can take the money from your first month's wages.
No point moaning about the past, time to moved on and find solutions!!0
