Police Online Situational Judgement Test FAIL

I feel if I'd answered opposite to how I did, that is having no empathy and just hanging up, I'd have scored more highly and passed?
Did you read the question(s) properly? I don't know the format of the test, but I know that on multiple choice questions, I can be guilty of skim reading the question too quickly, and choosing the exact opposite of the correct response - for example the question might start "which of the following are NOT..." which I may read as "which of the following ARE..." (my emphasis). Or clicking on the one wrong answer, when you were supposed to identify the 3 right ones. The other trap with practise questions is to think you recognise the practise answer in the real test, don't read the actual question properly, and then get the real answer wrong.
Such a vast change in results from practise to real test suggests some sort of mistake in answer selection, rather than a simple lack of understanding of the basic subject matter - suggest you apply to take the test again.
That said, with more subjective responses, it's worth checking that your understanding of what it being looked for is actually what is being looked for, because something is clearly amiss here.0
