Hi clever folks I ordered something from Amazon last week and it seems I now have an 'assistant' that is attached to my Apple MacAir laptop, since its become attached I seem to have had no emails from Outlook Express and I keep getting a notification saying please enter your password for OE
Only trouble is I can't remember the blooming password as it was set 4 years ago when I bought my lap-top I am wondering if its this 'assistant' thats stopping my OE from receiving emails up until this 'assistant appeared I have had no problems whatsoever
Thought I'd ask as I know you are a clever lot I am not very techie at all and it may save me a journey to my nearest Apple shop which is a fair distance from where I live

Is it attached to your browser or outlook client?
You should be able to uninstall via the addins options of either0 -

Outlook Express, formerly known as Microsoft Internet Mail and News, is a discontinued email and news client included with Internet Explorer versions 3.0 through to 6.0. As such, it was bundled with several versions of Microsoft Windows, from Windows 98 to Windows Server 2003, and was available for Windows 3.x, Windows NT 3.51, Windows 95, Mac System 7, Mac OS 8, and Mac OS 9. In Windows Vista, Outlook Express was superseded by Windows Mail. In macOS, Outlook Express was superseded by Apple Mail0 -
