Getting out a hole

right, I think its time to admit it. I'm in debt, this is not through all my fault. My partner used my credit rating to take debt out and didn't pay it back. I am going to start off by saying that this is the start of my journey to be debt free (or at least more debt free than I already am)
The amount I am in debt is £3,500. Now I know to some people that is a lot and to some that are nothing in comparison to their own debt but I regard this as being a lot of debt.
I want to start a journey of where I am at on a regular basis. Any advice on where to start?

Remaining Debt - starting - £1609.44/current - £1457.73
