My broker has got me an AIP with a LTV of 72% even though I had 6 missed payments last year. I am a little surprised but they said that as they carried out a credit check all will be ok?
Has anyone been in a similar situation and got their mortgage approved?

Are the six missed payments visible on the credit file produced by the credit reference agency used by the mortgage lender?I am a mortgage broker. Interesting.
On a current credit agreement at current address? Mortgage lender doing soft, or hard search?I am a mortgage broker. Current address but balance is at zero and has been for months. Not sure whether it was a soft search or hard search, what sort of thing shows on a hard search that wouldn’t on a soft search? I think I’ll ask this tomorrow, I don’t want to go any further and then get rejected.0

Perhaps name the lender they are using and a broker on here will know if it's hard/soft and whether it fits the lending criteria0
