Hello and thanks for reading....
I was recently accepted for a remortgage with Nationwide, however the surveyors valuation was well below what I was expecting and I am unable to now get the fixed rate product I wanted because of it. The advisor at Nationwide has suggested the valuation is appealed, however in the meantime I have been offered a better deal by my current lender so I have lost interest in the Nationwide deal, would I be expected to pay any fees to Nationwide at this stage if I changed my mind? A conveyancer has been assigned...many thanks

Usually you would not be charged anything in this scenario if you do not proceed and it has not gone to offer stage - Cancel the application with Nationwide if you do not plan to proceedI am a Mortgage Broker
