Overdraft with Natwest any issues?

Looking at Natwest as a potential lender however I have od (never above agreed limit) on an old RBS account that has been this way for years. Long winded but reason boils down to laziness.
My deposit & income go into a account with a different provider so any requests for !!!!!! of deposit would not be an issue. Income in excess of expenses so in terms of affordability there is not a problem.
Looking to pay off the od next week anyways and for what it is worth my credit score is excellent.
My questions there are:
1. would the od be picked up through internal flags if I was to go with natwest even though my income & deposit is fine but is with another provider?
2. how long after clearing an od would there be a flag if there is such a thing?/ if i were to clear in 1 month then apply for a mortgage the next month would this concern the lender?
Any pointers/advice welcomed

They will pick it up, so you will need to put it on your application if it is not cleared prior to application. But you can tick a box to say will be cleared prior to completion - if you do that, it will not affect affordability.
If you clear it prior to application (a day before), then it will probably not need to be declared at all.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
