I got one this morning from "Smyths" a new toy shop that has just opened in Beckton (east london) price £27.99, I presume other branches of this toy chain will have them too.

Having read this the other day I was delighted to find Smyths in Chadwell Heath, we went down Thursday night as they are open til 10 and I have never seen such a big toy shop and a whole shelf full of CHOU CHOU hooray!!!!!!

Sounds like shops are beginning to get stock again, as I managed to get one from local Tesco Extra this morning, and other people are posting to say they are getting them too! If anybody does get stuck again and starts getting desperate as I was beginning to get, the states websites have absolutely loads of them and with the dollar rate at the moment they work out cheaper than here in some shops, however a lot of the american sites will only ship to an american address so I thought that was the end of it until I found a brilliant website called Borderlinx.com where you can register and get a fictious US address and they will then forward on to you. Never got as far as using it so cannot guarantee it's service, but its definately worth looking into, especially when christmas is getting closer and you haven't got that elusive present. i managed to get one from argos and 1 tescos,

it was only the one from tescos that had the extra outfit and teddy.

so i would be looking there first.
