reclaiming interest on payday loans after DRO

Hi all,
i did a DRO (debt relief order) it was about 4 years ago so still a couple of years before it comes off my credit report. I think my debts were totalling about £7,000. £4,000 was an overdraft and £1,500 was credir cards and about £1,500 was payday loans
I was in a terrible position mentally, physically and financially and i was getting payday loans to pay off other payday loans. I think it may have been 4 or 5 years i relied on them so I could have borrowed 20,000+
As I have done a DRO is it still possible to claim back the interest?
Also is there anyway I can get old bank statements from barclays which was written off in the DRO.. I had lots of charges from barclays also over approximately 15 years of banking with them. Can i not claim this back now as i have done the DRO. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
The debts will of been written off by your insolvency, so you may hit a brick wall, however, there is nothing I can find anywhere to stop you trying.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. i was thinking the payday loans in my insolvency wont be able to be claimed back. Lets just say from Wonga, Quick Quid and Sunny. So those which were written off i wouldnt be able to claim back but the 20 times i borrowed from these companies previously which contributed toe needing to get a DRO, surely it wouldnt affect those loan?
Another thing im thinking is they may have asked me my financial situation before I applied but i lied on some applications out of desperation so nit sure if this will void any claim of interest back.
Im not sure if I should write to barclays which was in mr DRO and request bank statements that they have in archives and go through them all so I can worl out how much I actually borrowed and who from.. not sure if there is an easier way to do this.
Is there a template letter for dealing with payday loans on here?

Is there a time limit to when you can claim back. Ive just been in touch with my new bank to see when I opened my new account which was February 2013 and 4 or 5 years before this is was getting payday loans.. So it could go as far back as 10 years since my first payday loan.
Would Barclays still hold bank statements? i did have an account with them for 15 years so id imagine so0 -
From the Barclays site
If you receive Online Statements, you can view them online for up to 7 years, as long as the account is still open. If you've closed an account, but still bank with us, statements for that account will be available for up to 5 years.Aiming to make £7,500 online in 20220 -
I've done reclaims post-DRO for ppi. I don't see why you shouldn't do this but expect a bit of an argument.
Here's an interesting thread
