Uber and Birmingham Airport

An uber driver told me that it's a new blanket charge to be picked up from the airport uber or any other private taxi do not make money from this I now use the shuttle or walk 5 minutes it's to the train station and get picked up there

To tell the truth, I had an unpleasant experience with Uber several times. So, I don't use their services in other cities

If you read the rest of the thread you will see that Uber impose the airport parking charge even for pick-up from the railway station.

Had something similar happen once, but it was also the last time I ever used it again.
