Paid week in hand final pay

Hi guys, following my previous thread about working 12weeks notice. My employer has now provided me with a copy of my contract from 2005 that states 12weeks notice. Don't think there's anything I can do about it other than try and come to some sort of arrangement
Anyway, I worked a work in hand back in 2003 and will get it in my last pay. My HR dept seems unsure if it's based a week on my current salary or my salary back in 2003. Seems to think salary now.
Anyone had any experience with this? They no longer work week in hand it stopped not long after I started
Thanks

I would imagine therefore that they should've caught up with it when the policy changed.

Hi I remember when it changed because there was uproar here. We all asked for it to be paid when They stopped but they refused and said it will get paid in your final salary.

It should be the current wage.

If it was worked in hand back then any subsequent pay rises hsould also be in hand. So when you got them, you didnt get paid them until the week after? It should keep rolling.

In other words, you work week 1 no pay, you work week 2 you get week 1 pay, you work week 3 you get week 2 pay, you work week 780 you get paid week 779's wages.

Week in hand does not mean they keep the first weeks pay just they pay it a week later, repeat till you leave and the last week is due.
