can anyone advise me on a couple of questions on the forms.
I am the one going BR. All i pay for is the grocery and the child care fees which are alot higher than some may think. Hubby pays for all utility bills. It is HIS house. So on question 6.7 do i put down that husband pays for gas electric etc etc and the amount. then on questions 7.1 do i fill that in that husband pays for it and the amount again and just put in what i actually pay for. As is looks now i would not have filled in mortgage, gas electric, water, telephone, council tax. The others i do pay ie clothing , housekeeping , nursery fees, mobile, fuel for car.
Am i completely stupid at filling in this form !!!
Just can not understand how to fill that part in.
Thanks

You're not stupid, but the person who designed the form probably was.
It doesn't cope well with non-standard situations. Fill it in the best you can to reflect your I&E, and then explain your domestic/financial situation in the extra info section of the forms (Section 13).Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Hi
Thanks fot that
my income is 1048
child benefit 78
child tax credit 43
Total for me only is 1169
my expences are
Grocery etc 325
nursery fees 400
fuel 40
clothing 30 (just me and baby)
dentist 15 ( ongoing treatment and got reciepts for all )
sundries ie emergencies 30
Total 840
i know there is a difference but also paying for interent and mobile and life assurance that i know i can not include. Had a difference of 250 which was going on a dmp with cccs.
So i realise as it stands there is a difference of 329 and that i will have a payment to pay probably for 3 years.
My husband owns the house and pays the gas, electric, council tax, no mortgage as there is none he inherited house after his first wife passed away.
He also pays for insurance on house and water bills.
So do i put that on the questions 6.7 ??
and then on question 7.1 just my expenses.
Is there anything else i could put on that i pay for .........cant think of any at mo.oh yes hairdressing for me and babe.
And is it about 60% of surplus they will ask for.?
Thanks for any advise.0 -
Hi Littleannie
if you look here http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/manuals/dmbmanual/DMBM800120.htm about 2/3rds of way down the page its says that you can have life assurnace, as long as its not excessive.
Do you need the internet for work/studies or will you in the near future? The Or does allow you to keep it if its going to be used for those things.
You've put down for fuel, but nothing for any other car things, such as insurance, repaires etc.( i assume fuel is petrol/diseal for car)? If that also covered by your OH?The first time we said hello, was the first time we said goodbye. As the angels took your tiny hand and flew you to the sky-you forever left us breathless. Hi there
No i can not put that down as i said it is husbands house and i do not want to be seen having a BI in it as there is no mortgage.
I know it would be ideal to put that i am paying more but i am not and i need to be honest. I do not want his house to be affected in any way.0 -
