  • There is always much debate about whether we should use these or not due to Tescos staff saying that they don't accept book coupons as they can't reclaim the cash. I have invested a lump of time tonight looking into this and have come up with the following which I have posted on PTS.

'Had a bit of a debate about this with Quoai on MSE some months ago:

    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/...ht=paul.carter

They clearly joined up to accept these coupons but there has not been a recognition of this instore. They don't show up on the book coupons site but there are no references to them leaving on the net (that I have found).

Just spent a few moments googling and found the top 10 2007 % share of sales on the booksellers association website placed Tesco at number 5.

Also went to the booksellers association website, did a bookshop search and Tesco comes up in the results, try it.

This didn't work in the past but does now.

So to me it looks clear that they are members and can reclaim the money according to the T&Cs on the coupon. Will be just as happy if you can prove me wrong, but can see no reason why we don't buy heaps of these tomorrow and print out even more, as this complies with Mr Ts current policy on coupons.'

Having spent some time on this tonight I am now happy to DM to my hearts content, unless you know different of course.
