Credit report - lLoan included in BR has become active after discharge again.

Hey Folks,

During my BR ( discharged 30 days ago) All my Loan commitments showed up as default on my credit score which was to be expected apart from one - Ratesetter loan. This loans was showing as still active. I phoned them to ask why this was as it was included in my BR and they said its fine and will take a while to come off my report which was fair enough.

I have just checked my credit report and its now gone from showing Up to date on the status to Late payment as if they have waited for me to get discharged and have now reactivated the account?

Can i expect a thousand letters and them chasing me now? as if the BR was stressful enough i also have an IPA and i am paying my penance for going BR and it appears as if some under hand tactics have been used by the debtor!!

Any advice appreciated

Jason.

    Hi
You need to clean up your credit file
    - there is a sticky thread here that explains how and has some template letters to use.
It might be a minor pain to do but it is critical if you want to move on...
However, it takes a couple of months for all the credit file companies to catch up - give it about 2 months and then start your clean up
