Where to buy bed, carpet and sofa?

I have recently bought my first house and wondered if anyone could advise me on the best places to look for and possibly purchase a bed, carpet and sofa.

Looking for good value for money and reliable products. Nothing too high-end.

Furniture Charity shops do reasonably beds/sofas (new and used).

Carpet you can get off cuts from carpet shops.

You havent said your budget or even where you have looked ie argos, ikea
