Post a bike to Spain

Just wondering if anyone has posted large items to mainland Spain. I'm looking to post a bike - obviously collapsed- to near Barcelona & any advise wiuld be greatly appreciated

Not specifically about posting to Spain, but when sending a collapsed cycle via the post always make sure there is still an axle positioned between the front forks.

With the front wheel out, the front forks are prone to twisting in transit.

There is a company that will ship bikes to Spain and back - My boss used it last year for his holiday, cycling one of the long distance trails there and he was pretty pleased with the service and price.

The bike did need to be collapsed and securely packaged but IIRC they provided clear instructions and I think a carrier to do this. He sent it off (they collected it from our office) four or five days before his departure and it was waiting for him on arrival.
