I Said NOO! to PPI

Hi all,

I got a loan today for 3300k over 3 years, I said no to the payment protection which would have added £27 per month onto the repayments. I would like to protect myself but is there any companies which offer this as i think the price the banks charge is a rip off.

Any advice welcome please?

I personally don't know any specific one's but tend to use these search engine websites to get some idea of a quote.

just enter payment protection insurance in google.

i am sure there will be enough companies to go at.

Holy moly!

I have just slightly refinanced my loan with LloydsTSB...basically the repayments are £229 p/m with loan protection and £195 without.


I have just been on Antinsurance and got a quick quote, they reckon £6.33 to cover £300 loan repayment, that's with 12 months cover!

Lloyds said they wouldn't be able to do the loan without the PPI as I didn't have any other cover, I think I might be taking a trip down to the bank today!
