Cabot chasing 18 year old debt

So today I open the post and what do I see a letter from Cabot claiming £904 owed to Black Horse Ltd....

I cast my mind back, nope nothing, well not during this marriage.... so I go back a little further, no not during the wife before... (ok been with my wife for 13 years now and 5 years with the one before, just so you get the time line)

So I think even further back to a car I bought for £1800 on finance back when I was engaged to the girl before my first wife (ok ok i have a past, but it was never my doing) and I had a car, I had this car for 3 years out of a 4 year term and handed it back (ok technically not true I stopped paying as I was out for work, the asked for the car back, so I said sure come and take it)

I seem to recall the amount being similar to around £900, back then that was a fortune.

Ive had no further dealings with Black Horse what so ever, and now I get a letter saying "save 50% pay us today and this debt will go away"

Just goes to show what these DCA will go through to try and get money from people, I have a VERY unique name and only one of me shows up in the world so I'm pretty damn easy to find when I get found...

Obviously im only posting as I found It quiet a laugh that after 18 years (the agreement was in 1996 or 1997) they are trying to chase a debt.

So tomorrow I will SAR them under the shiney new GDPR and let you know what happens.
