I want to improve my driving and lower my insurance but there's too many options can anyone help me narrow it down and suggest a good place?

By the way, I meant to add in that I never found it lowered my insurance all that much; not all insurance companies recognize the advanced driving qualification when quoting their prices
In addition, you must renew your membership of the organization annually, which was just under £100 when I last did it.
My experience detailed above refers to around 5 years ago when I did the advanced test but I never renewed my membership since.
Mind you, I am a female aged in her 50s, so bearing in mind this may not be applicable to you:)
Hope this helps.0 -
My friend went to do advanced driving lessons. First thing the guy said was "I hope you are not doing this to lower your insurance rate, because it doesnt"0

I did an advanced driving course with IAM about 15 years ago. It made no difference to my insurance, but I would still recommend it as it definitely made me a much better and safer driver. It's definitely worth doing.0
