Defined Contribution Plan, transfer out to SIPP?

I have a Defined Contribution Plan pot which currently is about £16k. No more payments are being made into it as I have joined the Defined Benefit Cash Balance Scheme. I was told I can't move the DCP to my current DBCBS so it just sits there. I want to know if there is away to move the money from the DCP to something like the LISA where I could invest that £16k into stocks and shares myself? I'm 43 so it looks like it's too late for the LISA but is there something similar I could utilise?
Thank you!
Thank you!

You could use a pension if the existing pension doesnt have the investment options you want.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
