Go4Me does the same but they pay you to deliver fast food tooSo I've been doing some volunteer work for the
samaritans.
Tried to phone in sick the other day but
they talked me out of it.0 -

Good luck using that argument in court.1 -

From the FAQ:Can I order alcohol or cigarettes?
You are able to order alcohol or cigarettes if you are over 18. If you look under 25, the driver will ask your for proof of age. Only driving licenses or passports are accepted. If you are not able to provide proof of age, the driver will return the products and you may be charged a fee (taken out of your refund) for the cost incurred in returning the products.
So if you're the driver, and you have to not hand over the booze to a customer who may not be 18, you then have the hassle of returning it (that is, if you've bought it from somewhere that accepts returns - good luck if you got it from the corner shop) with no indication I can find on the site that any of the fee charged for the return will find its way to you.
The pricing's optimistic too - £2 upwards for a white sliced loaf. Plus delivery.1 -
It's just like Avon, once you've paid for the goods they're yours, regardless of whether a so-called customer has ordered them. You're under legally no obligation to sell anything on and you're the one stuck with the hassle of delivering or returning the products and all that entails. I don't know many supermarkets that take returns. Certainly wouldn't on frozen or chilled. And only for the odd item here or there, can you imagine someone trying to return an entire shop! lolMinimalist

If an order comes though for alcohol and cigarettes and you're not comfortable with it then just don't accept the order. I had one for just rolling tobacco and tobacco related products and didn't fancy doing it so I just didn't accept the order. Simple.
Also a customer can't just turn round on the doorstep and tell you to return everything as most people already know that no where will take food back unless found to be faulty. You'll still get all the money from Beelivery, same if you get no answer at the door.0 -

But think about it, who is going to say that the bag of shopping in the boot isn't yours? It might be different with hot food takeaways if you have a stack of pizza box insulating bags in you car as that screams delivery driver - but a bag of grocery shopping?
I forgot this forum was against boosting your income unless it's 20p daily clicks or never ending surveys.0 -
I've been with Beelivery since Feb 18
I would recommend it.
However there is little work coming through they need to promote it more.0 -

That seems to be one of the big problems with it. It's just not advertised or promoted. I only found out about by chance.0 -
Decided to look at this app again and it appears to have got busy over the last year or so, probably due to covid. Although most of the orders that come through in my area seem to be for alcoholics.
Received an order for just a bottle of whisky yesterday afternoon, and an order for a crate of Stella at 2am this morning. Needless to say they were both declined!0
