Equity Release- Best Providers

Hi,
It's very easy to find comparisons of mortgages from various lenders on the web but I can't find comparable data for equity release . Can anyone help or has anyone researched this and come up with the best providers . Ideally I'd like a loan that can be drawn down in stages as needed and a reasonable rate of interest .thanks

I could be wrong, but I do not think this industry is mainstream enough to get online price comparisons. Added to that, due to the added risks that come with equity release, I am pretty sure it is advised only.
So you will probably need a Mortgage broker.
Also, I think (could be wrong) your health may help to determine the rates. I have heard the worse for wear you are, the better. As it is likely they will get their money back sooner - I could be wrong on that however.
I am not qualified for equity release, so I am just passing forward the limited bits I do know and other bits I have heard through the grapevine.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. There are too many variations and options for them to easily be put on comparison sites. Plus, many of the providers only retail via intermediaries.
I personally dont do equity release but one of my employees does and there is no one consistent lender that comes in time and again. Indeed, just looking at his provider list, its almost a different one each time with not many repeats.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
