Some of the answers on this thread just confirm why medical advice is best avoided on this site other than see a healthcare professional.0

look up 'peripheral neuropathy treatment' and you will read the two drugs I mentioned are recommended.
This is not medical advice from me, but anecdotal statement of what worked for me. A big difference.
(by the way, all the people who are pooh-poohing this, have you actually suffered this condition yourselves?)0 -
Hi I am so sorry to hear that you are suffering from neuropathy, what is the cause of it? I am diabetic and also have a spinal problem, a Swiss doctor suggested I take Q10 Co-Enzyme and Alpha Lipoic Acid and Vitamin D3, I noticed an improvement about 3 or 4 months after starting on these supplements, now 5 years later I still have numbness but no more pain, and definitely improved sensation. Nerve regeneration is possible but it does take time, at least I have not deteriorated and become immobile as some doctors have predicted for me.
Google for information on these supplements, and also look at why Q10 Co-Enzyme is important for everyone.
Eat a super healthy diet with minimum additives, etc but no outlandish special fad food necessary, just fresh fruit/veg, fresh herbs, good protein from fish, eggs, meat/poultry, nuts and seeds and dairy, healthy fats such as butter, dripping, lard, extra virgin olive oil, ghee not seed oils or sunflower or vegetable oils, all these will help support your body to fight back and begin to heal.
Drink plenty of water/tea, etc
All the best

I have Peripheral neuropathy
Like yours during the day, for the most part its ok, I can deal with it, but at night, VERY painful, hands & feet
My doctor prescribed me medication (not sure if I am allowed to say what)
It has helped enormously at night0 -
I too have PN, in my hands and it was agonising until I upped and upped the medication I was prescribed ( with the blessing of my GP). The original dosage didn't touch the pain but I finally got there0
