Sorry if this has been asked before, I've tried to search for an answer but haven't been able to find one.
Does the 6 years of the BR stay on your credit file from the day you go BR or the day you are discharged? So if my BR is almost up, will I only have 5 years of it showing on my file or 6 years from now?

Just to expand slightly, to be clear, bankruptcy stays on your credit file for 6 years from the date of the bankruptcy order.
