Morning all,
Well inspired originally by guilt, a long overdue wake up has seen us replace butter in plastic, squash & fizzy in plastic, sauces in plastic & slowly moving on buying fruit&veg in less packaging. And as of this week, we moving to milk delivered three times a week in glass.
BUT .... I cannot find the following despite a lot of tapping:
Cream in glass bottles ... mainly double but the others as well.
Stevia granuals in glass or cardboard
Greek Yogurt in glass
Normal Yogurt in glass
Bleach .... might be a no go
Deodorants ... is metal or plastic better? Can you get one in cardboard sleeve?
Also anyone know where you can go to to get refillable cleaning stuff? Seen these places in the larger cities but anywhere in Telford, Shrewsbury or Shropshire? Or maybe a mail order option?
I'm sure these questions will have come up on MSE somewhere but my search failed me. And I know from the past that MSE folk have knowledge that's for sure.
Any steer on any of these items would be very welcome. We really are trying to change some deep seated bad habits.
All the best.

I've found it easier to make my own in most cases, but there are some products online that might be OK for you. Hopefully, the links below will show up! Yogurt making is covered on the Old Style board.jumeriah64 wrote: »Morning all,

Brilliant, definitely going to order and test some of the deodorants, that's a great find and definitely worth a go.
Had heard of Splosh but not made it to the 'having a go' stage but will now ... you gave the extra push needed.
Make your own .... strange, for fairly creative folks, we'd not actually considered that. Will do a search on that right now and also be putting that to the test.
Is what I really like about MSE, folks with real solutions .... that's defintiely one, probably two and I suspect three solutions in the bag. Appreciate your time with the steer.
Surprised that diary creams are so hard to find in glass.0
