Good afternoon,
I'm looking for advice regarding mortgage deposits. I'm looking to buy a house but don't have a sufficient deposit so my parents are going to give me the money. We've not figured out if this will be a gift or a loan yet but wondering if anyone else has done this?
What evidence did you have to provide to show where the money came from? How long before applying for the mortgage did you receive the money?

Very lenders will accept a loan, so they would likely need to give it as a gift and declare it as such.0
