Where's Hengus?

Anyone know where Hengus has gone?

He was often on here extrolling the virtues of Octopus Energy and their customer support?

But he seems to have gone very quite on this site since the shambles Octopus Energy appear to be making of taking over ex-Iresa customers. God help M&S customers.

However, I do note he still comes to this site, his latest visit being as recently as less than a few hous ago.

I want to know if he still thinks Octopus Energy are the bees knees of the Energy supppliers he touted them as, or was this original recommndation influenced by the potentional backhander he could have received for enticing others to join?

Anyone who his new handle on here?

From his recent posts he's been moving into a new build so maybe he's not got internet access set up yet.

Could also have gone on holiday and, unlike a lot of people these days, stayed off the internet while away.

I was wondering when someone was going to ask this question.
All I know about him is that he was knocking on a bit , of which he freely admitted. Threatened to sue me once , as a joke I presume, and was probably one of the best advisers on here.Has lived in the new build home for quite a while and frequently mentioned it.
Personally , due to his seniority and his obvious love of these sorts of advice forums, I fear the worst.. The same thing happened to old Jalexa who suddenly disappeared after many years on the Board.
I reckon Cardew Spiro and Macman now take over as the senior posters on the Energy board.
Not a chance that he was banned .never put a foot wrong and did nt get into petty arguments, unlike me lol

He quit the forum. I think there was a leaving post somewhere but MSE has a policy of removing them.

He got into a war of words with another contributor, who accused him of being an apologist for the energy industry (or words to that effect). I always found him fair and reasonable in his responses. I suspect that he just got cheesed off with all the negativity.:(
