Desiccated Coconut

I am really struggling where to buy this - I only found one packet in Tesco the other day and it was organic and £2 for 200g :eek:. Not very MSE.

Had a look in Asda today too and couldn't find any, either in the baking or the world foods aisle.

Anyone have any ideas?

Tesco have it, allegedly, 200g for £2, or two for £2.50.
Not "cheap" still though is it... but that's a brand name

Best thing to do is to keep an eye out anywhere/everywhere that might sell it ... everybody has different shops local to themselves.

I bet I've got a (cheap) bag I bought 4-5 years ago and just used twice... I remember I had a bag and used it, I know I don't throw things away... so theoretically it's in the cupboard somewhere...

Tesco east end coconut in world foods 80p I have used this and it fine.

Poundland has sold decent sized bags of it (200g I think?) for a long time.

Asda have Whitworths coconut. They normally have it on a multi buy of 3 for £3 which you can mix and match with other stuff like ground almonds and dates, figs, etc. I think it makes it cheaper then their own brand one.

Just checked, it's 300g. And perfectly fine although my bag "expired" in May 17
