Personal loan after moving

Hi there,
I am wondering how likely it is to be approved for a personal loan, if you have good credit score (around 92), it’s with a building society that I have been a member with for 19 yrs.
My salary is £52k
Biggest snag is, I will have literally just moved and taken on a mortgage. If the loan amount is more than manageable how unlikely is it that it will not be approved due to my address and financial circumstances being recently changed?

Any help appreciated! Thanks!

It's not very unlikely it won't be approved.

The recent move and mortgage will put you as higher risk for a while. The credit score also won't help, as it is made up and not a reflection of your credit worthiness.

Try an application, but if rejected, leave it for a couple of months.
  • Triple negative there. Mind boggled.

If it helps, I got a 8k loan @ 3% after moving. I have a lower income and did this 2.4 months after moving in. When I fiddled with the loan applications, it was time at address that had the greatest impact on interest rate.
